Oil Water Seperator or Condensate Drain are terms used to remove oil, water and condensate from your Compressor. According to European regulations, the residual oil content per litre of water released into drainage systems must not exceed 10 mg/l. The oil content in non treated condensate exceeds 250 mg/l. Condensate is an unavoidable result of using an air compressor. It is a chemically aggressive fluid that mainly consists of water, but also contains oil and dirt particles. This combination of substances can consequently cause serious environmental harm if released in its raw state. Water resource legislation stipulates that contaminated water must be treated to achieve prescribed safety levels regarding purity

The EW20 water/oil separator is capable of removing minerals and synthetic oil resulting from the use of any compressor from the condensate discharged by compressed air systems. This results in residual oil content content being well below the current law limits.

The EW20 inlet accommodates any type of condensate drain (float, timer operated, capacitance drains, etc) and the water can be disguarded into a drainage system.

Polypropylene fiber elements and an active carbon element maximises the absorbtion properties allowing for maximum filtration efficiency. The compact design of the EW20 and light weight elements facilitate the inspection and routine maintenance.
